| Homage to Bob Dylan
In 2007 I produced a series of paintings while listening to my large Bob Dylan collection. The results so far, 16 paintings. The works combine elements of abstract expressionism, pop, contemporary and street art inspired by Bob's music. Each painting is titled after the Dylan song that inspired it. While some images are more obvious than others, each painting is infused with spontaneity, a delightfully confused orientation and cryptic imagery spawned by Bob's memorable songs. A few works are as enigmatic as some Dylan’s lyrics. For me It’s all there on the canvas, and I leave interpretation to the viewer. | | |
